Iftekhar Hasan

Iftekhar Hasan is a University Professor and serves as the E. Gerald Corrigan Chair in Finance at the GSB of Fordham University. He also serves, as a scientific advisor at the Central Bank of Finland, a consultant faculty member at the University of Sydney, a research fellow at the Financial Institution Center at the Wharton School and IWH Institute in Germany. A Fulbright scholar and a Fulbright selector, Professor Hasan is also a recipient of a “Louis Bachelier Fellow” in France “Shimomura Fellow” in Japan, “Bursa Malaysia Chair” in Malaysia, “Changjiang Scholar” in China, and also a “Doctor Honoris Causa” degree recipient from the Romanian American University in Bucharest. He serves advisory boards of several business schools and universities in Europe and Asia. Professor Hasan is a committed interdisciplinary researcher with significant publication record in top tier academic journals in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, Operation Research, and Information Technology.
